Dom Farrell ( Director, Lumen Media ) is a freelance Director of Photography (DOP) and Lighting Cameraman / Editor based in Australia. His career began over 25 years ago in the newsrooms of Australian television networks and then led him to the UK and Europe, where he honed his craft whilst working for organisations including the BBC, IMG Media and Getty Images.

Dom films and produces diverse projects that often take him across the globe and it’s the challenge of capturing the energy of the moment that inspires him. His love of nature and wildlife has seen him work in documentaries from 2015 and most recently an expedition for an upcoming documentary in the Amazon jungle, Peru.

Dom’s passionate about providing progressive and visually stunning images whether for television production, documentary, sports features, corporate films or business events. He’s a sought-after operator who appreciates the unique challenges that each client and project bring and it’s his artistic eye, commitment and down to earth personality that set him apart from other film professionals.
